The heart of innovation at our company is GT Concept Lab – a dedicated R&D department where we design the future of transport.

It is here that the most technologically advanced solutions are created, based on a unique approach to materials engineering. We design hot-dip galvanized frames in which we combine extreme durability with optimal curb weight, as well as equally durable, ultra-light aluminum structures that redefine the concept of payload.

The only patented 2504 mm internal width system in Europe with a full loading clearance while maintaining an external width of 2550 mm. Optimized for the transport of, among other things, polystyrene, pipes, and furniture – it guarantees the safety of the cargo, easy loading, and record-breaking, fully utilized cubic capacity.

Effectively increases the safety of driving a single-axle trailer set and, according to user data, prevents the trailer set from tipping over during strong gusts of wind.

The ability to lift the roof without opening the doors. An option chosen especially in the case of using external docking stations, as it allows for opening the side curtains and lifting the roof without having to disconnect the forklift from the docking station.

Mounted on swap bodies, it enables a transition from C745 to C782 without the need to move loose elements (latch and lock). This facilitates the driver’s work, as there is no need to check any moving parts (chains, pins, bolts, etc.).

From Design to Prototype

At GT Trailers, we carry out the R&D process in three specific steps:

Our team of engineers in the design office creates digital CAD models, which we subject to rigorous FEM/FEA strength analyses. This allows us to optimize the vehicle's weight and structure even before production begins.

Based on the completed designs, we build prototypes in our in-house prototyping facility. Every vehicle undergoes demanding real-world tests, which guarantees the reliability and highest quality of the final product.

The final stage is a rigorous testing process, during which we verify the finished vehicle's compliance with applicable safety standards and technical regulations. Successfully passing these procedures provides official confirmation that the product is ready for the market and is a guarantee of its highest quality.

Materials Engineering

We use steel with increased strength parameters and lightweight aluminum alloys. Thanks to this, we reduce the vehicle’s curb weight, which directly translates into higher payload capacity and lower operating costs.

Ecology and Aerodynamics

We design innovative solutions that optimize aerodynamics, including dedicated spoilers and side panels. Reducing air resistance translates into measurable fuel savings and a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.
