About us - GT Trailers

We are a Polish manufacturer of semi-trailers, trailers, swappable body systems, customized bodies, and specialized vehicles, with over 35 years of market presence.

We combine decades of experience and artisan precision with modern engineering to create solutions that meet the needs of contemporary transport. Since June 2025, we have been growing as a Member of the Schmitz Cargobull Team, integrating our flexibility and specialized know-how with the expertise of Europe's industry leader.

OUR FOUNDATIONS

HISTORY

Everything started with passion, determination and engineering craftsmanship. It was then that Krystyna and Kazimierz Gniot built the company's first passenger car trailers in a home workshop.

We moved to our first official headquarters in Kurznie and expanded the production facility, debuting on the Polish market with proprietary solutions for light commercial vehicles.

We focused on technology. During this period, we developed proprietary innovations that resulted in patented solutions and registered industrial designs. We also introduced pioneering specialist vehicle solutions, including dedicated bodies for the mining industry.

The opening of our production facility in Malnia tripled our manufacturing capacity. This marked a breakthrough year for GT Trailers - we secured our first serialproduction contract for 40-ton highvolume combinations and began deliveries to one of the largest transport operators in the region.

We expanded beyond the domestic market and invested in international growth. With a clear vision for international growth, GT Trailers expanded beyond the domestic market and entered the European transport industry. Our international debut took place at the IAA Transportation in Hanover, where we presented, among others, our proprietary 2504 System, submitted for patent protection.

Having established a strong and stable market position, we successfully completed the company succession process. Agata Duliniec assumed the role of CEO, while the company founders joined the Supervisory Board.

We officially changed our name from Gniotpol Trailers to GT Trailers, refreshing our brand identity and preparing the company for the next stage of growth.

We are entering a new era of development. GT Trailers has become part of the Schmitz Cargobull team. Together, we are shaping the future of transport with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and shared business goals.

COO of GT Trailers, an expert in operational management and production optimization. He is responsible for the development of technical structures and their synergy with business goals. A nuclear engineer by education (Kaunas University of Technology) and an Executive Master graduate (ISM University). A strategic leader based on trust and discipline, values he derived which he gained from decades of Kyokushin Karate training (black belt) and his long-term role as captain at the Tug of War World Championships. Privately, he is a technology enthusiast.

We undertake a series of comprehensive actions that tangibly reduce the carbon footprint of our products and set new standards for ecological production.

ESG and environmental impact

At GT Trailers, corporate social responsibility is not just a slogan, but the foundation of our value system. For years, we have been actively supporting the local community and caring for our common good – the natural environment. We believe that modern transport must go hand in hand with care for the planet and the safety of the residents of our region.

CO2 emission reduction – We have introduced a full range of lightweight aluminum vehicles. Thanks to their lower weight compared to steel counterparts, our products effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions during transport.

Recycling – We use aluminum, which is an easily recyclable material. Due to its natural resistance to corrosion, we minimize the need for paints and galvanizing.

Green energy in production – We strive to ensure that in the future, 100% of the production processes in our facilities will be based on renewable energy sources, increasing our energy independence and the cleanliness of our production.

CSR: Local community and institutional support

Our activity extends beyond our production halls. We are involved in initiatives that build a stronger and safer region, based on three pillars of support:

Fire Brigade Support – For years, we have been regularly providing equipment to Volunteer Fire Brigade units (including those in Karłowice and Odrowąż), ensuring the safety of the region’s residents.

Patronage and Philanthropy – We provide material and financial support to public benefit organizations and foundations, responding to the current needs of people in difficult situations.

Mentoring for the Young – We actively participate in the Business Mentoring Program in cooperation with OCRG and BCC, sharing knowledge and experience with young entrepreneurs at the beginning of their careers.
