10 June was a key moment for the development of the Polish BDF sector. On that day Gniotpol Trailers, together with their business partners, opened a new chapter in the transport industry at the IMS Intermodal Show – the only such event dedicated to intermodal solutions in Poland.
Revolution in the BDF Sector
In our last article we talked about the growing importance of truck-based intermodal transport. This solution enables a significant optimisation of logistics processes. As a result, the intermodal transport saves both time and money.
At the IMS Intermodal Show we presented our state-of-the-art technology in the field of BDF swap bodies. Our strategic partners XBond and SDG also presented their products. Their experience gained on the German market is a valuable contribution to the development of the intermodal technology in our country.
However, the BDF sector is not just about products and the technology. Implementing such comprehensive solutions is a process that requires commitment on many levels. This is why so many experts from the TSL industry took the floor at IMS’21. As part of the panel discussion, they talked about the advantages of the BDF segment and related trends and challenges. The subject of the freight forwarders’ work in the context of applying intermodal solutions was also raised.
